Skaters Keep Achieving Through Education (S.K.A.T.E.)

Purpose: Skaters Keep Achieving Through Education (S.K.A.T.E.) was established in 1993 to encourage, support, and reward youth hockey players who commit themselves to their schoolwork while enjoying the sport of hockey.

Goals: It is the goal of the S.K.A.T.E. program and the Roseville Hockey Association to increase awareness among youth hockey players that performance in the classroom is more important in life than their performance on the ice.

To Qualify: S.K.A.T.E. program players must attain at least a 3.0 grade-point average during the hockey season.
Parents are also encouraged to help by reminding your player about the importance of school and how they will be recognized for their good grades.
