1st Skate/Intro to Hockey
1st Skate is an introductory session for children starting on the ice. More detailed information regarding the curriculum can be found on our "About" page in the top menu bar.
Registration opens in early Summer.
1st Skate participants have an option to also sign up for Introduction to Hockey. There is a separate price that includes both when registering. Upon the completion of the 1st Skate sessions, the registration will be moved to Introduction to Hockey for the continuation of the season.

When
- 1st Skate only: 6 sessions in September.
- 1st Skate + Introduction to Hockey: October - February

Jerseys are provided.
Additional Costs
- USA Hockey registration is required which has additional fees associated to it for ages 6+. Please see the USA Hockey site for more information on membership details and registration.
2024 - 2025
1st Skate requires that all registrations include a USA hockey registration in addition to the RAYHA fees. Please see "Additional Costs" section below for more information.
1st Skate (6 sessions) = $50
1st Skate (6 sessions) + Intro to Hockey = $250
You can still choose to register for Intro to Hockey after the 1st Skate sessions complete.
